Dear Greene Families,

It has been another wonderful year of collaboration between us to create a great learning environment at Greene. Thank you for your support and contributions. We are so grateful and blessed to have parents like you in our community. 

Overview of the School Year 2018-2019

Your PTA contributions supported every Greene teacher with a $500 max. supplies grant. Teachers used your PTA funding to purchase classroom devices and supplies which directly benefitted our children’s education and development. Items included books, magazine subscriptions, headphones with microphones, supplies for art, music, science, and more!  

In addition, your PTA contributions supported our community-building and student-enrichment events such as Jaguar Journey, Bike Safety Fair, Back to School Social, Cotillion Dance, Lively Arts, Just Parties Kick-Off, International Fair, Science Fair, Day of Service, Skating Nights, Parent Education & Parents Networks, 8th Grade Promotion Party, and more!

Looking ahead to 2019-2020

At the end of this school year, the Greene PTA Board examined the PTA budget and the list of school and PTA programs for next year.  We have decided to keep our Annual Donation Ask the same for next year: $300 per student. Please join us in our mission to build the school and community that we want for our children. Together, we make a difference for them.

Over the summer, the Greene PTA will refresh this website to provide up-to-date information about our programs and events. Please come back August 1st to check out what is new!

In the meantime, please SAVE THESE DATES:

Back to School Packet Pick-Up and Popsicles. Please come to Greene to pick up the Back to School Informational Packet. An online version of the packet will be available.

  • 6th Graders and their Families: THU/August 8. 4:00-5:30pm. Front Lawn
  • 7th and 8th Graders and Families. FRI/August 9. 4:00-5:30pm. Front Lawn 

Bike Safety Fair. This event includes FREE bike registration, Free Bike safety check, FREE helmet fit check, FREE help on planning your bike route to school, and bike registration.

  • 6th Graders: MON/August 12. 12-2pm
  • 7th and 8th Graders: also MON. 2-3pm

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL. TUE/August 13th. School starts at 8:10am.
