Designed by a group of former Greene students, the new logo is a depiction of the side profile of a Jaguar, our school mascot.

The head of the Jaguar is formed by 2 paws cradled together, setting the tone for our school and community as caring and close-knit. Our nickname, “GREENE” forms the teeth of the Jaguar, and our school name is arched over the top in Times New Roman font in the school color of dark green. 

The design was submitted this time last year for review and feedback from the Greene Middle School administration, as well as from the Student Council and the Leadership team. It also went through a few minor iterations with several printmakers to ensure it could be printed for school apparel and school stationery. 

At this time, only new school apparel sold through the Greene Gear store and new school stationery will bear the new logo design. No new signage will be purchased; existing signage with older logos will remain and existing inventory of apparel, etc. will still be available for sale. Greene P.E. uniforms will also retain their existing look. 

Thanks to the many hands (and hearts and minds) who created our new logo. We hope you all like it!
